An Annual Meeting of the Members of the ULWSA was conducted on January 20, 2024. The meeting was well attended and many members chose to participate and share their views with the Board and their fellow members.
New Bylaws Adopted
To adopt new Bylaws or make amendments to them, a vote of 2/3 (66%) or a simple majority of votes cast based on the entire lot count, whichever is lesser, is required for adoption. The vote tally at the Annual Meeting was:

As a result, the "2024 Bylaws" that were sent to all current owners for their consideration were approved.
Board of Directors Election
Three Director seats were up for election during the Annual Meeting. The election results were as follows:

| Mary Modreske | 16 |
As a result, Eriks and Lary will remain on the Board, and Nancy Wolf is joining the Board as its newest Director.
Special Meeting of the Board of Directors
Immediately after the Annual Meeting of the Members was adjourned, the new Board met for the purpose of electing officers for the new term. The Directors unanimously elected:

The Board also passed motions to change signatories on the ULWSA's banking and investment accounts to remove the former Treasurer (Pete Tattersall) and assure that Mark Bowers and Nancy Wolf will become signatories. A similar motion was passed to update the keyholders for the Association's Post Office Box.
A motion was made and seconded to authorize the Treasurer to acquire a laptop, QuickBooks license key, and a printer for specific use by the current and future Treasurers for the Association's bookkeeping. During the discussion, the motion was tabled pending exact price quotes and time to consider options. Member input on this subject is welcome, pending the motion being taken back from the table during the next meeting of the Board of Directors. The Board agreed unanimously on a new meeting schedule for the new term. Regular Meetings of the Board of Directors will be held on the 4th Sunday of every other month. If matters arise between the scheduled Regular Meetings, the Board will call a Special Meeting to handle anything time-sensitive.
The first Regular Meeting of the Board of Directors will be held on Sunday, January 28, 2024, at 6:00 PM. Location to be determined and announced once a meeting room has been reserved. All members are invited to attend in person or online.
